Protecting Youth Training Course
Many faculty, staff and students interact with minors (anyone under the age of 18) through the University either internally or externally. These interactions may occur during the course of their work, in their coursework or through an activity or volunteer opportunity.
Anyone interacting with a minor for any length of time through the University is required to complete Protection of Youth training. If your Community-Based Work Study position involves working with minors, you must complete the Protecting Youth Training Course.
Accessing the Course
- Visit myshu.sacredheart.edu-> Blackboard-> Organizations -> Training for Protection of Youth
