Liturgy and sacramental life is an important aspect of Campus Ministry at SHU.

Students are involved in the faith community by participating in the Sacramental and Liturgical life through volunteering to lector, be a Eucharistic minister, altar server, or sing in the Liturgical Choir. Students also experience God’s love and mercy when they allow themselves to be vulnerable in the sacrament of reconciliation. In addition, students can grow their faith by attending one of our many Mass offerings on campus.

Liturgical Choir

The Liturgical Choir supports the assembly’s prayer through music and song at the University’s Sunday celebrations and on other special occasions. The choir’s musical selections range from contemporary to traditional employing a variety of musical styles and tempos all designed to encourage singing and beautify the prayer of the gathered People of God.

Being part of the choir is a rewarding experience and a fantastic way to interact and connect with others who are also interested in sharing their musical talent to serve the community. Percussionists, guitarists and all other instrumentalists are invited to audition to participate as an instrumental member.
