Students Welcome YouTuber Cody Ko To Campus

Sacred Heart University students gave a warm and excited welcome to YouTuber, podcast host and comedian Cody Ko at the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts on September 18.

Ko became popular for his short video clips on the now defunct app, Vine, but later grew a large following on YouTube.

The 28-year old Canadian native sat down with senior Andrew Patino on the Edgerton stage. Patino asked Ko about his college experiences, former job as a computer programmer and if he ever thought he would reach such fame. Ko said he started making sketches on Vine for his friends and eventually one thing led to another.

Ko’s appearance kicked off the Student Affairs Lecture Series. Rev. Jamie Washington will be at the Edgerton on September 30 followed by Max Lugavere on October 8.
