Max Dorrington set career highs when playing with the Pioneers

Max DorringtonAlum Max Dorrington signed with the Bridgeport Islanders, the New York Islanders' AHL affiliate team, continuing his hockey journey at the professional level.

Dorrington, 23, joined the Bridgeport Islander on an amateur tryout agreement last season.

In his final collegiate season, Dorrington set career highs across the board for the Pioneers, finishing with 12 goals, 10 assists and 22 points with 38 games played. He ranked fifth on the Pioneers in scoring and tied for fourth in goals, helping lead the program through a strong campaign.
