He’ll also discuss what qualifications state officials are looking for as they search for candidates to fill key roles in upgraded digital operations.

“This program has been designed to attract and assist companies beyond the start-up phase that are ready to leap forward but are looking for resources to help them grow domestically and internationally, to modernize, reduce costs, improve security, network and prosper,” said Cara Parsons, manager of events and programs for the CTC. “Our panelists bring a rich background in technical expertise, innovation and leadership, and are proven thought leaders and industry consultants. This is the second year Sacred Heart University has hosted this event, and it’s a perfect partnership considering their ongoing commitment to technology, STEM initiatives, innovation and entrepreneurship.”

As DAS commissioner, Geballe uses his extensive background in information technology and business management to lead human resources, procurement and IT practices across state agencies. Lamont has him assessing opportunities that can streamline processes, improve services and produce savings. He has experience as a senior executive at Fortune 500 companies IBM and Thermo Fisher Scientific, and he was CEO of a venture-backed software company, Core Informatics.
