Alumnus, Faculty Member Run Across U.S. to Fundraise
One year ago, Sacred Heart University alumnus Ryan Litwin ’20 ran to Boston with 27 other Ulman Foundation runners. The Ulman Foundation supports teens and young adults impacted by cancer.
The runners were completing a 49-day, cross-country journey to raise awareness and funds for the nonprofit organization’s 4K For Cancer program. Three months earlier, Litwin ran to SHU’s campus with SHU in Dingle faculty member, Shane Finn. Finn was he was wrapping up his own cross-country journey in aid of the organization, Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland.
