Georgianna Dolan-Reilly
Georgianna Lynn Dolan-Reilly, LMSW, is a Community Development Specialist at the Long Island Prevention Resource Center, Adjunct Professor at several universities, freelance editor, and Outreach and Advocacy Manager for the Institute for Social Work and Ecological Justice living in Setauket NY. They earned their MSW, specializing in Health Care, from Stony Brook University, and their BS in Neuroscience from Binghamton University. Georgia’s expertise is in community and policy work as it relates to disease prevention and health promotion, as well as research, substance misuse, chronic disease, and food allergies. Their research interests include health disparities, environmental justice, and models of community mobilization and change. They were recently appointed to the Council on Social Work Education’s Committee on Environmental Justice. Georgia enjoys cooking with foraged and gluten free ingredients, holding monthly potlucks for the past eight years with friends, spending time with their husband and two cats, crafting, and exploring nature.
