The Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BSW) program at Sacred Heart University is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and serves as a vanguard model for integrated social work practice.

The School of Social Work evaluates the BSW program by collecting data on graduates’ performance across the nine CSWE (2002) core competencies, along with an additional tenth competency unique to the program.
