Admission Requirements

The Doctor of Nursing Practice Family Nurse Practitioner program has one start term per year, in the fall semester.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the cohort is filled.

• Non-refundable application fee
• Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended; a BSN is required for admission
• Resume
• Two letters of recommendation
• Copy of current unencumbered U.S. RN license in your home state and a copy of any other state license including advanced practice licensure and certification
• Essay – In approximately 2 pages, discuss your reasons for pursuing the FNP program and obtaining a clinical doctorate
• Qualified candidates will be invited to attend an admissions interview
• 3.0 GPA or above
