Admission Requirements
Applicants to the Doctor of Medical Science (D.M.Sc.) program must meet the following criteria:
Educational Background
- Master’s degree in physician assistant/associate studies (MSPAS) or an equivalent graduate degree from an ARC-PA-accredited program (or international equivalent)
Certification & Licensure
- Current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification (or equivalent credential for international applicants)
- Active state licensure in good standing (if applicable)
Academic Performance
- Minimum graduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- GPA below 3.0 consideration with evidence of significant professional experience or additional graduate-level coursework

- Nonrefundable application fee
- Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions (undergraduate and graduate)
- Updated CV/résumé (exhibiting a minimum of seven years and a maximum of 10 years of work history), except those with fewer than seven years of work experience
- Statement of purpose
