All classes starting prior to 11 a.m. will be remote. Classes after 11 a.m. will be in person. Non-essential staff should work remote until 11 a.m. then report to campus as scheduled.
Admission Information for the Geriatric Physical Therapy Residency Program
- All applicants must:
- Be in the final semester of a CAPTE accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, or,
- Have successfully completed a CAPTE accredited professional physical therapy curriculum, or
- Have had a state physical therapy board approve the applicants’ first-professional physical therapy program as “equivalent” to a US CAPTE accredited professional physical therapy program.
- Prior to the beginning the program, all applicants must have a current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Connecticut.
- Applicants that have been previously licensed in Connecticut or other states may not have a license under suspension, revocation, probationary status and/or subject to disciplinary proceedings or inquiry.
- All applicants must submit a completed online application, 2 letters of reference, and a curriculum vitae in order to be considered for the program.
Admission Deadline*
March 15: Deadline for receipt of application and supporting materials. Admissions committee will review the files and conduct interviews by invitation shortly after.
