Greg HatzisGreg is a lifelong educator, having served as a teacher ranging from middle school to college and most recently as a building principal for the last 15 years at the high school and middle school levels. He was voted Principal of the Year by the Connecticut PTA Association, has presented at conferences, and has successfully led major change initiatives, such as block scheduling and grading reform. Greg's belief that educators must support all students in their social-emotional wellbeing in balance with classroom learning led him to pursue his doctorate in educational leadership in social, emotional and academic learning. His focus is on helping students and educators develop ways to deal with the stress that can be caused in the academic setting. In his personal life, he loves the theatre, the outdoors, history, sports and film. He is a "dance dad" for his two high-school aged children and loves cooking and relaxing with his wife of 19 years.
