Dual Degree Program

Choose a Track

Chemistry: Thesis Track

Develop skills in lab techniques and computer modeling. You will also complete a research project and write a thesis.

Chemistry: Non-Thesis Track

Perfect for students with industry experience, this track covers a wide range of topics like inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry. You will also improve your communication skills and learn to analyze scientific literature.

Chem-Bioinformatics: Non-Thesis Track

Learn how to build databases, create algorithms and use computational methods to solve chemical and biological problems. This track is useful for careers in medicine and drug discovery.

Molecular Biochemistry: Thesis Track

Get hands-on lab experience and explore advanced bioanalytical methods. You will complete a research project with a faculty advisor and write a thesis.

Molecular Biochemistry: Non-Thesis Track

Focus on the chemistry of biomolecules and bioanalytical techniques. You will gain practical lab experience without having to write a thesis.

STEM Designated Program

This is a STEM-designated program, which means you will be trained in areas of science that are in high demand with U.S. employers. This program allows international students with F1 visas to extend their OPT in the U.S. by 24 months after graduating (36 months in total).
