Bachelor’s to MAT with Secondary Chemistry Certification
Pursuing a career in any field of science will certainly always be a challenge. Learning how to think critically, creatively and problem solve is a necessity, regardless of profession or area of research. I truly believe that the Chemistry/Physics program at Sacred Heart University prepared me for such challenges; beyond providing me with a solid foundation in chemistry they enabled me to excel in my current field of work and, more importantly, instilled a love of learning that continues today. I would highly recommend to any student pursuing a chemistry degree to consider taking courses at SHU; you will find a supportive community of students and professors, but most importantly you will be among scientists who are devoted to their fields of research and equally committed to the education and future of those around them.
