Make a fundamental impact on others’ lives with a dual degree in speech-language pathology

With a career in speech-language pathology, you’ll make a real impact on your clients’ lives by helping them overcome communication disorders. Sacred Heart University offers speech-language pathology (SLP) students the opportunity to earn their bachelor's and master's degrees on a seamless track.

Dual degree students are guaranteed admission to the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program provided they continue, as undergraduate students, to meet program-specific criteria to progress into graduate program enrollment. All speech-language pathology dual degree students must major in communication disorders as an undergraduate student.

Students pursuing a master’s degree in SLP at SHU also have the option to earn a specialty certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorder or Medical Speech-Language Pathology.
