Dual degree students are guaranteed admission to the Master of Arts in Higher Education & Student Affairs program provided they continue, as undergraduate students, to meet program-specific criteria to progress into graduate program enrollment.

Criteria to Progress to the Master of Arts in Higher Education & Student Affairs

Students admitted to the dual degree program must continue, as undergraduate students, to meet program-specific criteria in order to progress to enrollment in the HESA program:

  • Successful completion of the bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
  • Demonstration of campus involvement and leadership as an undergraduate student in a 500-word personal statement discussing the student’s experiences in college, which led to the pursuit of a career in Higher Education & Student Affairs and the student’s career goals.
