Sacred Heart University’s DNP-FNP program equips bachelor’s prepared registered nurses with the expertise to become advanced family nurse practitioners. Hybrid coursework combines hands-on clinical experiences and a practice-focused doctoral project, preparing students to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse settings. Upon graduation, candidates are eligible to take the national examination for certification as a family nurse practitioner, a highly in-demand role in health care.
