FN 905 ECONOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF PANEL DATA   3.0 Credit(s)
This course has two parts. The first part provides an empirical overview of econometric techniques using panel data. Topics include specification, estimation, and inference in the context of panel data models that include state and time effects and binary dependent variable. The second part of the course will cover the fundamentals of causality and how to make causal determinations using empirical data. Topics include a variety of causal inference designs and methods, including RCT, difference-in-differences, instrumental variable estimation, and regression discontinuity designs.
