This doctoral course examines adult learning theory and its application to educational leadership practice in P-12 settings. The course prepares candidates to lead professional learning that supports instructional improvement, organizational capacity, and equitable outcomes. Candidates explore theories of adult learning, motivation, and professional growth, and apply these concepts to leadership practices such as coaching, mentoring, collaboration, and facilitation. The course emphasizes evidence-informed leadership, reflective inquiry, and the development of learning-centered organizational cultures.
