COU 675 THEORY AND PRACTICE OF CONSULTATION IN COUNSELING   3.0 Credit(s)
This course offers an in-depth examination of consultation and collaboration in counseling, with applications in both mental health and school settings. Students will explore the functions and roles of consultants and collaborators to enhance their skills in fostering effective relationships and improving productivity. Emphasis is placed on major consultation models and the integration of assessment and evaluation strategies. Ethical and legal considerations are addressed to prepare students for effective and responsible practice in a diverse world. Prerequisite: Take COU-580 and COU-590
