Explores supervisory skills required to effectively manage and deal with people in the workplace. Emphasis is on strategic human resource issues of recruiting and managing to retain talent. Includes skill building applications to practice supervisory skills such as interviewing, providing feedback, resolving team conflict, dealing with emotional behavior, and managing terminations. Business communication skills focus on effective written and oral communication used in business settings and in formal and informal presentations at work. Prerequisite: Take MGT-202 or PS-355 or PS-255
