The fundamentals of fluid mechanics, including fluid statics, control-volume analysis, the Navier-Stokes equations, similitude, inviscid, viscous, and turbulent flows, pipe flow, boundary layers, external flows, forces on submerged structures, and fluid measurements. Prerequisite: Take MECH-216 MA-253 MA-254
