ATTENTION: To register for your internship credits, you must get them approved BEFORE your internship start date. Here is the link that all students can use to login to Handshake to request an internship be approved for credits. sacredheart.joinhandshake.com Students will need to log in, click Career Center, then Experiences. Click on "create new experience" and select this course number from the first dropdown list and then answer all of the questions in the form. The internship is focused on developing job search, interviewing, and career assessment skills while providing practical experience. Students work with a faculty advisor and the career development office to write a resume, search for and obtain an internship, and work for a minimum of 120 hours. The internship introduces students to the opportunities and rigors of the business environment. Upon completion, students work with the supervisor and faculty advisor to reassess skills and career development plans. Prerequisite: Take BU-296
