Examines properties, production, and applications of common construction materials including soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, metals, wood, and finishes. Explores typical construction methods and assemblies for residential, commercial, and civil projects. Emphasizes selection of materials based on performance, cost, constructability, and sustainability considerations. Prerequisite: Take CMGT-125
