Course Description
TRS 146 CRAFTING A GOOD LIFE 3.0 Credit(s)
"What is a good life?" is a daunting question. While each of us needs to answer it, it is almost impossible to do so all at once. A major purpose of college education is to help you reflect on this question in a very practical way. Using the structure of a book to help college students reflect on and craft a happy, meaningful life, you will explore how you work and what kind of work you want to do in your career; how you spend your leisure time and can do so more meaningfully; how to show up in your friendships and love relationships; and how you participate in communities. Some ways that religion and philosophy have offered perspectives on the good life provide structure for our journey.
Offered: Fall Semester All Years
