ENGR 125 INTRODUCTION TO ENGINEERING   3.0 Credit(s)
This course introduces students to the engineering profession by presenting information on the different disciplines of engineering, with an emphasis on computer, electrical, and mechanical engineering. Professional and ethical aspects of engineering are covered. Students are taught how to apply the basic steps in the engineering design process, and describe the types of work that engineers perform during their career. Project-based assignments will provide students with opportunities to apply mathematics to solve engineering problems, acquire teamwork skills, practice written and verbal communication skills, and enhance problem-solving and design skills.
