Welcome Session


If you wish to get an early jump on the day, arrive at 8 a.m. to check in and take advantage of early events! You will begin your day by parking at Sacred Heart's Park Avenue Campus and then checking in.

Pick up important materials for the day ahead! Check-in begins at 8 a.m. for Early Bird arrivals and runs until 9:30 a.m.

Tours depart from Toussaint Hall

Join our Student Ambassadors as they accompany you to see two first-year residence halls: Merton Hall and Mother Teresa Hall. Last tour departs at 9:30 a.m., with tours resuming at 10:30 a.m.

8:30-9:30 a.m. | Club Sports Meet & Greet

Valentine Health & Recreation Center

Speak with coaches from Sacred Heart University's club sports teams and spend time exploring our dedicated club sports facility. Stop by our signing table if you are ready to make your commitment to a club sport team official!

9-10 a.m. | Student Life & Resources Fair

William Pitt Athletic & Convocation Center

University representatives from student life, athletics and student services will be at our table fair to answer your questions. Enjoy a light breakfast as you explore our table fair.

Experience the spirited atmosphere of our newly renovated arena as you receive a welcome from Sacred Heart University leaders and administrators, followed by a live overview of the day's agenda.

Students and families are then invited to break out by designated SHU college for Academic Experience sessions. Find your college below.

Also running throughout the day are special topics sessions and drop-in events for all students across campus to help you explore SHU's offerings and get all your questions answered.

Shuttles to the Center for Healthcare Education (CHE) for academic sessions depart from Via Cordis (outside the Chapel of the Holy Spirit) and will bring you back to our Park Avenue Campus for afternoon events, or to Martire Center for the Liberal Arts for our Class of 2030 lunch & social. Take your time to explore CHE before leaving for your next stop! Shuttles will run from 10:15 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Those who utilize accessible parking at the Park Avenue Campus are encouraged to drive to CHE and enter the accessible parking garage just past CHE, located at 4000 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT, on the left-hand side.
