Red's Pub Staff
Red’s Pub Staff check IDs of all patrons at the University’s on-campus pub. Red’s Pub Staff work as bar backs, hosts/hostesses, and food expediters, while also monitoring the Pub’s guests, and assisting in the execution of events held within the Pub.
Knowledge & Skills Required
This role will involve significant interaction with all members of the University community, which includes students, faculty, staff and University guests. Persons in this position must be able/should possess:

Responsibilities
- Monitor pub area & its patrons
- Check IDs using scanning equipment
- Assist with the retrieval and distribution of customers’ orders
- Clean & maintain Pub while providing quality service
- Assist the Graduate Assistant on Duty at special events in the Pub
- Provide assistance with the general operations of Red’s Pub
- Other duties as requested

Student Union Manager in Training (MIT)
The Student Union Manager in Training is responsible for the general supervision of the Student Union facilities and all of the services it provides. They perform vital tasks in and out of the Student Union office including supervising the Shuttle service, Red’s Pub, Hawley Lounge and the Campus Concierge.

Responsibilities
- Assisting with and overseeing the daily operations of the Student Union
- Cover no-shows or late workers
- Oversees all Student Union Student Employees
- Manages Sacred Heart Shuttle services, Hawley Lounge, Red’s Pub, Student Union Office and the Campus Concierge
- Perform rounds of the Academic Center and Red’s Pub during shift hours
- Provide additional support for special events
- Other duties and responsibilities as required

Red's Pub Server
Red’s Pub Servers serve food and drinks to the University’s students and staff who visit the pub. The Servers will be T.I.P.S. certified as they are bartenders who serve beer and wine to the patrons who are of legal drinking age. The Servers at Red’s monitor Pub guests, and provide excellent customer service to the pub’s customers. The Red’s Pub Servers oversee events held within the Pub and maintain the cleanliness of the establishment.

- Monitor Pub area & its patrons

- Maintain cleanliness of Pub areas during operating hours & at the end of every shift

Student Union Accountant
The Student Union Accountant is responsible for the general supervision of the Student Union purchase orders and daily reconciliation of all cash bags and deposits. This team member is also responsible for all accounting duties for all Student Union operations, as well as recording daily logs of all activity, collect weekly reports, and submit monthly reports for all areas.

- Possess understanding of budgeting, the purchasing process, and basic accounting skills

Responsibilities
- Process daily cash reports and make cash & credit deposits for the Union’s business operations
- Daily accounting/set up of area cash bags & duty reports
- Manage Union purchase orders and process all invoices
- Oversee inventory within the Union office
- Basic accounting skills for all areas of the Student Union (Red’s Pub, Campus Concierge)

Student Union Graphic Designer
The Student Union Graphic designer is in charge of making advertisements for all operations of the Student Union. The Graphic Designer will meet with the Student Union GA’s and Director to receive daily projects and is expected to fulfill all deadlines.
Knowledge & Skills
This role will involve plenty of projects and deadlines that will need to be met as well as organization skills to keep up with all responsibilities. Persons in this position must:
- Have acute knowledge of Adobe Suite products including, but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
- Sufficient time management skills
- The ability to meet deadlines as well as being flexible with changes
- Prior experience in Graphic design and Marketing
- Strong communicating skills with others
Responsibilities
- Meet regularly to discuss projects and deadlines
- Complete all projects in a timely manner
- Adhering to the publishing schedule
- Plans concept by overlooking given information and materials
- Illustrates concepts by designing aesthetic concepts through layout or regarding arrangement, size, font size and style

Summer Conference Assistant
Conference Assistants will assist with all facets of the Summer Conference Service program. Staff is responsible for servicing the needs of conference groups and their participants housed in the residence halls. This includes administrative, clerical and physical operations necessary to provide housing, and support services to conference participants, and involvement in all phases of the conference program, including pre-conference preparation and post-conference follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Be committed to pre-conference training and work weekdays, evening and weekends as needed
- Coordinate meeting/space/housing needs in advance of each conference along with Residential Life and Buildings and Grounds
- Review conference needs, meet with individual conference leaders as they arrive on campus and periodically during the conference to answer any questions and help with any situations that may occur
- Coordinate physical set up of meeting facilities and deliver requested equipment to facilities as needed
- Work with appropriate campus departments in meeting the needs of conference groups
- Coordinate return of all equipment to appropriate locations
- Live in Campus housing
- Be on-call as part of a rotation
- Printing ID cards/ Conference meal cards
- Carrying out daily Campus Concierge operations
- Gathering up and delivering linens to the dorms
- Checking the condition of the dorm rooms
- Other duties as assigned

Secret Rider
The Secret Riders play an integral role in the operation and maintenance of the Student Union’s shuttle service, by monitoring the execution of the shuttle service from a student’s perspective. These staff members are assigned various routes to ride throughout the week and will report any issues or concerns to the Student Union professional staff members.
Responsibilities
- Completing weekly assignments as scheduled
- Reporting any issues/concerns to Student Union professional staff via Ride Report
- Other duties as requested

Student Union Office Assistant
Student Union Office Assistants assist with general office duties within the Student Union Department consisting of greeting guests, answering office phones, filing, scanning, making copies and other duties as assigned.

Campus Concierge
The Campus Concierge oversees the University’s “information desk” through providing University students, faculty, staff and guests with information on the shuttle service, local recommendations and more all while utilizing exceptional customer service. The Campus Concierge is also in charge of carrying out daily service sales, equipment rentals and the printing and distribution of University Identification cards.

- Provide vending machine refunds to students, faculty and staff
- Oversee and carry out locker, game and easel rentals
- Assist the Student Union Manager in overseeing daily service requests
- Maintain the Campus Concierge in an orderly fashion at all times
- Protect confidentiality when necessary
- Other duties as requested
