Transfer Admissions Work Study
Work study students play a vital role in Transfer Admissions. Students who work in this office will gain valuable experience working in many different areas: data inputting, contacting prospective transfer students, providing student testimonials, attending campus events, etc. This role helps to ensure the office, the events, and the day-to-day responsibilities are run effectively and efficiently. Special interest will be given to students who transferred into the University.
Location
This position offers very limited remote assignments and may not be offered or available.
Responsibilities
- Calling prospective transfer students to answer initial questions about their application processes
- Attending transfer events both virtually and on-campus such as Open Houses, Student Panels, Admitted Student Days, Information Sessions & Tours, etc.
- Inputting data into our online system to track new students and their interactions
- Recording a testimonial for email communications
- Develop and enact new recruitment initiatives for transfers
- Other duties as assigned
Expected Hours
The Undergraduate Admissions office is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Office hours will be assigned based on the number of hours a student is awarded and each hired work-study students’ class schedule.
