ABET Accreditation & Academic Planning Graduate Assistant
The engineering program in the School of Computing & Engineering is seeking a graduate assistant to support ABET accreditation readiness, academic assessment, advising administration, and strategic planning.
The graduate assistant will organize accreditation documentation, collect and maintain academic data, assist with assessment records, and provide administrative support to engineering faculty.
- Part-time (20 hours/week)
- Compensation: $20/hour
Dates
September 1, 2026 - May 30, 2027
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized electronic and physical repository of ABET documentation, including scanning, filing, labeling, and tracking required materials
- Collect and organize course assessment materials, student work samples, rubrics, assessment results, and continuous improvement records
- Collect, organize, and summarize data for enrollment, retention, graduation, program assessment, annual reporting, and strategic planning
Knowledge & Skills Needed
- Strong organizational, communication, and document-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and shared-file platforms such as OneDrive or SharePoint
- Ability to manage confidential academic information accurately and work independently with limited supervision
