Complete the FAFSA
To be considered for federal or and state financial assistance

- Visit FAFSA and complete the online application

- The Financial Aid Direct Data Exchange (FA-DDX) will transfer contributors’ federal tax information from the IRS directly into your FAFSA form. All contributors must provide consent and approval to have their federal tax information transferred into the FAFSA form in order for the student to be eligible for federal aid
Review your Award Package
Your SHU Awards Account
SHU Awards is the primary tool used by Student Financial Assistance to communicate with you. To create your account visit SHU Awards and click on First Time User in the log in box. To activate your account, enter your 7-digit Student ID number and follow the prompts to create your PIN.
As an accepted student, you may do the following via SHU Awards:
- view your financial assistance award(s) by semester
- accept, reduce, or decline your award(s)
- confirm the status of your financial assistance documents
- review important messaging related to your award(s)
- view your federal loan history from the National Student Loan Database (NSLDS)
