All classes starting prior to 11 a.m. will be remote. Classes after 11 a.m. will be in person. Non-essential staff should work remote until 11 a.m. then report to campus as scheduled.
Mission
The School of Performing Arts (SoPA) provides rigorous academic and professional training, enhanced by integrated performance opportunities that foster personal, intellectual and artistic growth. Through the School of Performing Arts, all Sacred Heart University students can deepen their knowledge of performance and culture, discover and nurture their gifts and talents, express and enhance creativity and pursue their passion for the performing arts. The School of Performing Arts integrates opportunities for innovative research and coursework, diverse ensembles, experimental workshops, public performances and personalized attention.

The School of Performing Arts will be known as a bold and innovative community of diverse artists, scholars, students and professionals pioneering the future of live performance through the integration of passion, theory and practice.
