iFUN Fund
Dr. Connie Young, Professor Emerita of the Davis & Henley College of Nursing, has established a fund titled iFUN: Incidental Fund for Undergraduate Nurses. As the name suggests, the fund will be used to provide financial assistance to undergraduate nursing students who have small but urgent one-time needs.
Due to the success of the undergraduate nursing students incidental expense fund, faculty, staff, alumni and friends have come together to support a graduate nursing student incidental fund.
We invite all nursing alumni and others in the nursing community to have the opportunity to contribute to either fund to assist its growth, to the point of self-sustainability. With the increased demand for nurses and the concurrent increased need for support for our undergraduate and graduate nursing students, these funds are vitally needed. All contributions are tax deductible and donors will be acknowledged as members of the College's Leadership Society.
