The mission for CS-PLAN is to develop, implement and share programs that provide professional learning and support to increase expertise in computer science for teachers in grades K-12. School districts as well as teachers can be chosen to participate in the Computer Science Professional Learning Action Network (CS-PLAN) during the summer.

This opportunity is designed for a school district to scale a K-12 computer science pathway. Priority will be given to ensure that every child has equitable access to the highest quality educational opportunities, services and supports in schools that provide effective instruction aligned to the state’s standards.

Elementary school teachers will participate in a “train the trainer” model for CS learning and will serve as CS content experts in their schools. Middle school and high school teachers will choose from a menu options for CS professional learning.
