Exposure to and familiarity with diverse cultures is a key component of the lifelong commitment to intellectual inquiry and social justice that Sacred Heart challenges all of its students to embrace. For business & technology students in particular, participation in a Study Abroad program is a great way to gain international perspective and enhance their studies. Students may choose from a traditional semester-long opportunity or an intensive experience in winter or summer.
SHU Dingle | Dingle, Ireland
Sacred Heart University’s global campus on the Western coast of Ireland offers immersive experiences during the winter, summer and semester. All courses involve experiential learning and allow students the opportunity to delve into Irish culture.

Summer: International Fashion Luxury Retailing | Paris, France
With Paris as your classroom, you will gain an understanding of the impact of French culture and aesthetics on modern luxury branding and retailing. Students will visit French luxury retailers such as Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Chanel, along with historic sites where the industry was created and later evolved, such as the Palace at Versailles. You will study at the Paris American Academy, which is located in the historic Latin Quarter and centered at the 17th century Pavillon du Val de Grâce. At the completion of the class students will have a understanding of the deep interconnection between the luxury industry and France.
Summer: Fashion Brand Marketing | Milan, Italy
Milan is one of the top international centers for fashion, finance and commerce and home to the Italian stock exchange and many large industries. It's perfect for students interested in a faster-paced medium to larger city, with an interest in Business and Fashion, and who are looking for a more modern European city.
