Speakers & Corporate Visits
The Jack Welch College of Business & Technology hosts numerous events featuring leading scholars and speakers from different industries, providing learning opportunities for students on the roles and challenges faced in business today.
What’s the right career path for you?
Before deciding on a career, students should be exposed to as many choices as possible. To observe different applications of your major, we host monthly speakers and corporate visits to companies in our region. Through these speakers and visits, our students learn that...
- Not all accounting students must work at an accounting firm
- Not all marketing students must work in a marketing agency
- Not all sport management students must work for a sports team
- Not all finance students must work on Wall Street
- Not all fashion students must work for a designer
- There are many opportunities that you’ll learn about outside of the classroom
Attend Speaker Events
The Conversations Speaker Series features speakers from different industries like fashion, nonprofits, engineering, accounting, finance, e-sports, cybersecurity, marketing, music, management and more.
In addition, students have many opportunities to network with speakers and presenters who visit campus during the semester.
Corporate Visits
Through in-person trips to businesses, virtual chats with leaders and corporate presentations on campus, you’ll learn about opportunities and company culture. Stay tuned to view our corporate visit schedule.
