All classes starting prior to 11 a.m. will be remote. Classes after 11 a.m. will be in person. Non-essential staff should work remote until 11 a.m. then report to campus as scheduled.
Applicants who take the examination for the first time after January 1, 2000, shall have completed a total of 150 semester hours of college education, including a Baccalaureate degree at a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting commission subscribing to established national policies and procedures or of equivalent accreditation as determined by the board. Such applicants shall have received credit for at least 36 semester hours in accounting education, which may include the basic or introductory accounting course; at least 30 semester hours in economics and business administration education other than accounting; and at least 60 hours in general education. Students in Connecticut can now write the exam at the end of their Baccalaureate degree. However, students still need to complete 150 hours to become a CPA.
