Experienced Professionals

Students with more than two years of relevant work experience and an undergraduate business degree can complete the program in as little as 33 credits.

Early Career Professionals and Career Changers

  • Students with a bachelor’s degree in business and less than two years of work experience can complete the program in 36 credits.
  • Students with a bachelor’s degree in a field other than business who are switching careers can complete the program in 41-45 credits.
  • All students can complete an internship to gain additional work experience before graduating from the program.

Degree Options for Incoming Students & Current SHU Undergraduates

Incoming First-Year Students: 4+1 Dual Degree Program

Students may apply directly to the Bachelor's-Master of Business Administration dual degree program as incoming first-year students for a streamlined path to earning both degrees.

Students begin with an undergraduate major in one of the following areas: accounting, business analytics & applied AI, business economics, computer engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, electrical engineering, fashion marketing & merchandising, finance, financial technology & analytics, game design & development, information technology, management, marketing, or sport management.

Through this integrated program, you’ll build a strong foundation in business while progressing seamlessly into advanced coursework—saving you time and accelerating your path to a master’s degree.

Current SHU Undergraduates: 4+1 Combined Degree Program

Sacred Heart undergraduates can fast-track their future by earning a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in just five years. Work with your adviser to develop your 4+1 plan.
