Exploring Business & Technology LLC
In a Living & Learning Community (LLC) at Sacred Heart, you’ll gain a unique experience that connects your classroom learning with residential life. Enjoy the advantages of on-campus life with the added benefit of living among a group that shares your academic goals and interests.
What You’ll Do in the Exploring Business & Technology LLC
- Build a community while developing leadership skills, increasing professionalism and participating in business focused events sponsored by Welch Experience
- Ability to work with and learn from upperclassmen, faculty, staff, alumni, community partners and business executives
- Mentoring received from upperclassmen in addition to attending upper-level business course(s) with assigned mentor to explore potential major(s) and minor(s)
- Develop resume, LinkedIn and mock interviews through workshops from the Center for Career & Professional Development
Mission of the LLC
The mission of the Exploring Business & Technology Living & Learning Community is to:
- Help students grow personally and professionally to succeed in the business world
- Help freshmen transition into their first year of college within an on-campus community of business students
- Give students the tools they need to succeed in their first year of college
- Explore opportunities in the Jack Welch College of Business & Technology and develop a network of peers, faculty and professionals
This program is highly suggested for those who are exploring business and/or curious about adding a major or minor(s).
Housing Information
We are looking for students who are enthusiastic and excited to join the Exploring Business & Technology Living & Learning Community program. There are a limited number of slots available. Students can request a roommate, but all residents of the Exploring Business & Technology LLC must also apply and be accepted in the program individually. Specific assignments are made by the housing staff. Thus, your roommate must be a student in the WCBT who qualifies for the Exploring Business & Technology LLC.

How to Apply
Complete the online application by June 20, 2025. Students must also complete the University Housing Application.
