Research Interests
Dr. Fernandez investigates enzyme mechanisms and develops enzyme-based assays using advanced analytical methodologies. His work focuses on characterizing the medicinal properties of synthetic and naturally derived molecules, with additional efforts in enzyme engineering to modulate catalytic function. His research has applications in medicinal chemistry, environmental sciences and industrial biotechnology.
