Oluwatobi Tobi Ojo, MSHI, CPHIMS

With over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Tobi Ojo has a strong understanding of electronic health record (EHR) systems and a successful track record in implementing and optimizing their use within healthcare organizations. He has hands-on experience, as well as being a dedicated teacher and mentor, having served as a trainer for colleagues seeking to improve their EHR skills. Tobi's background in both clinical and administrative operations make him well-equipped to manage complex projects, such as leading and implementing health IT solutions like Telehealth during the Covid pandemic, Electronic Prescription of Controlled Substances (EPCS), bi-directional electronic data exchange interfaces (HIE) with CT Wiz and Connie, and clinical workflow optimization efforts.

In June 2022, Tobi played a key role in the Epic EHR Implementation Project as a liaison between the project teams at Yale New Haven Health in New Haven and Optimus Healthcare in Bridgeport. This project was planned and executed over a 9-month period and was a success.
