Louis E. Matteo, Jr.

Lou is an Application Analyst Team Lead for the System Support team at Hartford Healthcare specializing on Interoperability projects.  Having over 38 years’ experience in the Healthcare IT field with roles as an analyst, project manager, Lou has the knowledge to share with SHU students.

During his career, Lou has managed multiple projects from small, minimum user impact to multi-million dollar projects impacting thousands of users.  Lou is a committed team player working with a broad range of end users in the healthcare environment, including physicians, nurses, and all areas within a healthcare facility.   In addition, he understands the technology to support project management and enjoys sharing with the students. 

Lou holds a BS in Computer Information Systems and Math, and an MBA, with a concentration on Healthcare Management. Lou earned both of his degrees at Quinnipiac University.
