About the Endowed Scholarship
The Michael Tyll Family Endowed Scholarship was created in 2015 by the Tyll Family. The recipient(s) must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in the Jack Welch College of Business, a men's hockey student athlete, and maintain a Grade Point Average of 3.0.

"What I love most about SHU is the atmosphere within the small community. Having a small community makes it easier to create lasting relationships with everyone including classmates and faculty. Being a member of the SHU community has brought me everlasting memories over the years, and I am proud to be a Pioneer.
My professional goal after college is to work in the finance industry. I recently discovered that wealth management interests me, but I will remain open to all the possibilities that will be available to me with my degree from SHU. Being a member of the Division I Men's Ice Hockey Team has been a major part of my college life. Being a student athlete has challenged me and helped me grow into a better person.
I am extremely humbled and thankful to be the recipient of this gift. To be connected to the Michael Tyll Family Scholarship brings me pride and joy. Being chosen for this scholarship means a lot to me and I cannot thank you enough."
