Anonymous Welch College of Business & Technology Scholarship
This anonymous scholarship was established by a woman who worked on her undergraduate degree for 16 years while raising a family and working full-time. She was determined to get her undergraduate degree at Sacred Heart University taking one or two courses at a time and then went on to get her Masters in Business from the Welch College of Business and Technology, which took another 7 years. She and her husband were both enrolled at SHU part-time and were determined to get their degrees to better their lives and the lives of their children. As a working mother, she knows how hard it is to balance work, home and school and is now financially secure to be able to support a working mother who might find herself in the same scenario.
