Criteria
The Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund offers scholarships to candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Be an incoming or continuing undergraduate, or graduate student enrolled full-time at the University;
- Demonstrate academic achievement;
- Demonstrate financial need;
- Demonstrate involvement and leadership in community service and/or extracurricular activities;
- Positively represent Sacred Heart University on the campus and the extended communities; and
- Complete the University’s Application for Endowed Scholarships
From those candidates that meet the criteria cited in the above section, priority consideration will be given to legacy candidates, listed in descending order of priority:
- Candidate has a parent who graduated from Sacred Heart University
- Candidate has a grandparent who graduated from Sacred Heart University
- Candidate has a sibling who graduated from Sacred Heart University
