About the Scholarship
The Alexander Hawley Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Alexander Hawley, who touched and enriched the lives of everyone he met. He constantly and methodically created and developed sources of higher education and health care in Connecticut. Since 1967, Alexander unselfishly served Sacred Heart University as a Trustee. His soft-spoken pursuit of excellence lead him to be an important factor in our state. We will all miss the voice of one of our most valuable community spokespersons.
