Delta Alpha Pi

Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society was founded in 2004 at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania to recognize high-achieving college and university students with disabilities. Sacred Heart University joined this organization in 2024 as the Iota Kappa Chapter.

To be initiated into this honor society, students must present with a documented disability and work with one of the faculty or staff members in the Office of Student Accessibility or self-identify as an individual with a disability and demonstrate an interest in disability issues.

Undergraduate students must have completed a minimum of 24 credits and earned a GPA of 3.1. Graduate students must have completed a minimum of 18 credits and earned a GPA of 3.3. Each year, we will induct new members into the organization.
