Why’d You Choose SHU?

I chose SHU because I felt like it was a place that would get me out of my comfort zone. It was a new environment all the way in Connecticut which serves as a good distance from my home state of Virginia. I also felt like it was a school where I could succeed academically as well as on the basketball court.

What Do You Do Now?

I currently work for the WNBA as a social media & digital content publisher. My role entails coming up with content for the WNBA’s social media channels and running all of the WNBA’s main social outlets.

Advice to Underrepresented SHU Students

Keep going and own your journey. Everyone’s journey is different, but there is no perfect way to the top so keep striving!
