Why’d You Choose SHU?

I chose SHU because it provided me the unique opportunity to travel and see the world in a way I otherwise would have never been able to! During my undergrad, I traveled to over 20+ countries, many of which would not have been possible had I not attended the university

What do you do now? 

Currently, I am working as a Community and Donor Relations Coordinator handling all volunteer operations and donor engagement interactions.

Advice to Underrepresented SHU Students

Cultivate the environment you desire. A Pioneer is not just someone who passively sits by and awaits discovery; they are trailblazers. Take this time to truly find your voice and the things that your heart burns for. Don’t let the expectations of others or even your own limiting beliefs, stop you from fully pursuing and walking into your God given destiny. Your association is powerful. Find like-minded people who believe in you, are going where you’re going, or where you desire to be in life and run with them!
