Why’d You Choose SHU?

I chose SHU because they presented me with an opportunity many other schools didn’t, which was a chance to play D1 Football at a high level. SHU became my home, and the people/community became my family.

What do you do now? 

Currently, I work as a Scientific Recruiter at Adante Staffing. I aid many candidates and new grads with securing opportunities to gain hands on experience to help kick start their career in the biopharma industry.

Advice to Underrepresented SHU Students

Your degree is an accomplishment, but your degree should not be the end goal. A lot of times, people aimlessly go through life in a reactive manner. I encourage you to first take some time and figure out where you want to go. When it’s all said and done, what do you want your quality of life to look like? Then break it down into steps and goals to get there. Find a mentor who’s where you want to be and allow them to guide you to the promise land.
